New construction of a combined cycle power plant, Uzbekistan
Under Japanese government financing, the state-owned Uzbek energy supply utility, SJSC Uzbekenergo, is planning to construct a new combined cycle power plant. This is to be located at the existing Navoi Power Plant site in the south of the country. Under a joint venture with Tokyo Electric Power Services Company, Fichtner as Owner’s Engineer assists Uzbekenergo throughout the engineering and construction phases.
