Fichtner at E-world 2019
Our participation in the E-world trade fair was a great success. We held many interesting discussions on topics such as hybrid power plants as a building block of the energy transition, battery storage for increasing flexibility in the power grid, e-mobility and grid expansion in Germany. Marzipan artist Clemens Brinkmann was a big hit with visitors at our booth. We are already looking forward to next year’s E-world.
BIM – 3D planning in all project phases
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is used to cre-ate a digital model containing all the relevant plan-ning data of a building. It therefore enables condi-tions on site, such as accessibility and safety as-pects, to be clearly and easily factored in early on in the planning process. Fichtner applies this method in its work for the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
