Our Quality Standards
Fichtner attaches great importance to maintaining a high quality standard for our engineering and consultancy services. For this reason, careful selection of personnel and close quality supervision are assigned high priority in the pursuit of our primary aim, which is to ensure our clients' satisfaction.
For the various projects, specifically adapted quality assurance measures are to hand that are implemented in line with relevant quality assurance concepts.
Since issuance of the ISO 9000 series of standards for quality assurance and quality management systems, we have kept abreast of their development and schooled key personnel in all their aspects. As one of the first engineering consultancy companies, Fichtner attained ISO 9001 certification in March 1994.
Integrated Management System
We have continued to significantly develop our quality management system and have expanded it to an Integrated Management System for compliance, quality, occupational safety, environmental protection and information security. This allows us to successfully support our business practices in all affiliated companies of the Fichtner Group. In doing so, we have faced the challenges posed by market demands and client requirements, and have met these through pragmatic solutions in compliance with standards and norms. For this purpose, in line with the development of the management system, the senior management of the Fichtner Group has set as corporate aims compliance, quality, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and information security.
The externally certified Integrated Management System that we have adopted fulfills, alongside the process-oriented approach of the ISO 9001 quality standard, also the requirements of ISO 14001 for environmental protection, of ISO45001 for occupational health and safety, and of the international standard ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, as well as the relevant rules for compliance.
Adherence to and constant improvement of the high standards will continue to be ensured by feedback from our day-to-day work and routine internal auditing. The result of these endeavors has been re-award on a regular basis of our quality certificate, on the basis of renewed checks conducted by independent external auditors.
