Tanjung Priok 720 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, Indonesia

To meet the rising electricity demand, the state-owned electricity utility PT PLN (Persero) constructed a 720 MW combined cycle power plant at an existing power plant site. The project encompassed demolition of the Tanjung Priok 2 x 25 MW Power Plant and construction of the new combined cycle power plant with auxiliary equipment and tie-in to the 150 kV power transmission system. Acting as Owner’s Engineer, Fichtner assisted in the project over a period of seven years, from conceptual study to commissioning.
