220 kV power transmission line between Uganda and Rwanda
The power transmission line between Mirama at the Uganda-Rwanda border to Shango in the Kigali Province is part of a regional project that has the aim of connecting the countries Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. Fichtner’s tasks as Owner’s Engineer for this project cover project management, design review and ensuring successful implementation as well as acting as a representative for the regional technical project committee.
