Long-term strategy for statewide green energy supply, Germany

The Ministry of the Environment of Rhineland-Palatinate contracted Fichtner to draw up a "Lead Scenario 2030" for the State of Rhineland-Palatinate. On the basis of the State´s key energy and climate policy objectives and assuming a range of development scenarios, the study shows how, through a long-term strategy for energy conservation, raising energy efficiency, expanding renewable energies and increasing the share of on-premises power supply, a secure, affordable and low-carbon energy supply can be attained.
