Setting up a new load dispatching system in the central electricity system of Mongolia
The project objective was to contribute to upgrading power supply reliability and to attain economical dispatching of power generating units in Mongolia’s central electricity system. The program covered the construction of a grid control system with associated telecommunication and metering systems. Fichtner ensured acquisition of the required operational grid data through a SCADA system, prepared basic engineering and drew up technical specifications for the new grid control system. Further, Fichtner provided construction oversight with issuance of acceptance certificates following successful commissioning of systems.
