New power distribution grid control centers, Sudan
The Sudanese power distribution company whose supply territory is North Sudan, needs new dispatch centers for its distribution system. Fichtner was retained to investigate seven regions and undertake a feasibility study to determine in which of these new dispatch centers are required or could be amalgamated. In a first step, three new regional dispatch centers with state-of-the-art distributed network control systems and IP-based communication technology are erected.
