Due diligence audits for power generation and distribution assets, Middle East

For a state-owned Middle Eastern utility, Fichtner has conducted in-depth technical and environmental due diligence audits of its power plant inventory together with its distribution network. For this, our specialists conducted site inspections of the major parts of the more than 50 power plant sites together with their local grid infrastructures. On the basis of the surveyed data and information made available by the supply utility, we prepared a comprehensive technical evaluation of the power plants and power networks and reviewed their performance. For the environmental review, our experts investigated whether operation of the power plants and power networks met national and international standards. Fichtner also assisted the client in further transaction- related tasks, such as drawing up the contract documents and determining CAPEX and OPEX by applying the financial evaluation model.
