The fire protection research center at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology operates a fire test facility to investigate the combustion behavior of various substances. As part of modernization measures, the concept for cleaning the gases released during combustion is to be redesigned. Fichtner analyzed the existing facility and conducted a workshop to investigate and identify an appropriate combustion gas cleaning concept.
