The Chilean copper mining company Minera Escondida Ltda operates mines in the Andes mountain range in northern Chile with primarily copper extraction. The power supply of one of these mines that is not connected to the public grid is now to be switched to regenerative energy sources for which Fichtner develops an energy concept.
