Power and gas grid connection permits for a CC power plant, Germany
Our client, an energy utility, was planning to erect an 1100 MW combined cycle power plant in Germany. Fichtner oversaw the permit application process for tie-in of the power plant to the power and gas grid through all stages. This comprised consultations with authorities, network operators and the affected owners. Alongside preparation and compilation of all permit application documents, an important part of Fichtner’s services was assistance during the approval procedures. Apart from technical planning, also the obligatory expert ecological appraisals formed part of our contract scope.
