Permit procedure and routing of 380 kV power line to Haiming Power Plant, Germany

For supplying power to its refinery in Burghausen, the oil and gas utility OMV is planning to erect an 850 MW combined cycle power plant in Haiming. For connection to the EHV grid, a 20 km 380 kV power line has to be constructed from the power plant to the grid connection point at Simbach. The permit for this line is issued in the course of a regional planning procedure followed by a plan approval procedure. Fichtner assisted OMV in preparing for and conducting these two procedures.
