Owner’s Engineer for Bogdanci Wind Farm, Macedonia
Macedonia’s first wind farm is being erected near the town of Bogdanci. It comprises 16 turbines together with control systems and cabling as well as infrastructure, like access roads, grid connection, substations and transmission lines. Fichtner acts as Owner’s Engineer in the planning and tendering phases as well as during construction and commissioning. Fichtner also successfully handled validation for registration of the project under the clean development mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol.
