Institutional setup of the waste disposal organization of the District of Istria, Croatia

As part of the EU IPA program, Kaštijun Solid Waste Treatment Center is being constructed near Pula to serve the Region of Istria. This facility comprises a mechanical-biological treatment plant, landfill, recycling center and transfer stations. Fichtner was commissioned by the institution responsible for administration of EU projects in Croatia to provide technical and organizational support for the institutional development of Kaštijun Ltd., the company in charge of operation of the entire solid waste treatment center.

  • Drawing up terms of reference for services for development of a waste management software system and technical specifications for software and hardware
