For modeling the gas grid and its associated facilities, the trading company, WIEH, entrusted our IT experts with the task of developing an IT system for cost-optimized calculation of network flows. Our solution is based on an adaptable mathematical model that allows WIEH to calculate and depict natural gas flows within the pipeline network under user-defined parameters.
