Selected project examples

In a Middle Eastern country, the government invited project developers to submit bids for hybrid projects consisting of photovoltaics and 4-hour battery energy storage systems (BESS). In this situation, we acted as bid engineer for a local company that builds and operates solar and wind power plants. The goal was to optimize the PV BESS design and secure 520 MWh of capacity across multiple sites in the first two rounds of the auctions. Following this, we supported our client with owner's engineering services for the BESS. This included the preparation of detailed technical specifications, contract documents and implementation support.
