Selected project examples

The state-owned utility ‘STEG’ has assigned an EPC contractor to design, build and operate a 10 MW photovoltaic plant in Tozeur in the south of the country. The project is financed by KfW banking group. Fichtner provides technical assistance during design and construction by reviewing technical concepts and construction procedures, assisting the client during commissioning and performance tests until the commercial operation date.

In parallel, Fichtner’s experts are involved in the IPP tender process, which achieved record low-priced proposals, as technical advisors supporting GIZ in elaborating the qualification criteria and technical specification.
