Development of several plant concepts based on different renewable energy sources
As part of this project, Fichtner assisted the client in the early stages of the development of a power-to-gas project. For this purpose, Fichtner developed different plant concepts based on three different renewable energy sources (wind park of 80 MW, PV of 60 MW, and a combination of both). For each case, the optimum plant sizing and resulting hydrogen production costs were calculated.
