Senior Project Manager (m/f/x) for Environment, Social Affairs and Sustainability
Your Tasks
- Providing professional consulting to our clients on sustainability, environmental and social aspects, especially in large-scale international projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors
- Handling and integrating EU-wide regulations (EU taxonomy) in project execution in connection with sustainable financing
- Assisting in the implementation of environmentally and socially relevant requirements and obligations of international investors / financiers during project execution
- Project management and handling of environmental and social issues as well as assuming responsibility for the technical and economic results of our projects
- Independently preparing and conducting ESIA studies, ESG due diligence reviews, and environmental management and monitoring plans
- Carrying out and documenting environmental audits on site (worldwide), as well as working on them in interdisciplinary and international teams
- Liaising and coordinating with the relevant authorities, external experts, internal technical departments and clients
- Providing technical assistance in preparing proposals for our services
- Supporting and developing technical topics through active participation in an interdisciplinary team
Your Profile
- Degree in engineering or natural sciences in the field of environmental or landscape planning, environmental management, environmental protection technology, biology/ecology, geography or similar
- Several years of relevant professional experience in international projects in the field of energy, infrastructure, industry and development cooperation, as well as in dealing with authorities, experts and auditors
- Experience in preparing ESIA studies, ESMPs, ESG due diligence reviews, as well as in conducting environmental audits
- Knowledge of sociological aspects and occupational health & safety would be an advantage
- Experience in international development cooperation and in implementing environmental management systems would be an advantage
- Knowledge of EU taxonomy and EU climate and environmental objectives would be an advantage
- As a team player, you have experience in leading and participating in interdisciplinary and international project teams
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, while knowledge of other languages, especially French, would be an advantage
- Willingness to undertake business trips and project assignments at our clients’ premises in Germany and abroad (worldwide)
