About The Division

Our experience in the photovoltaic (PV) sector is based on the several hundred projects we have handled in over 70 countries on all inhabited continents. Our experts are equally conversant with the requirements of national and international investors and development banks as they are with local energy supply markets, tariff structures and permit application procedures.

We handle large-scale ground-mounted plants with up to several GW of installed capacity, as well as floating PV, agrivoltaic, rooftop PV and building-integrated PV plants. Our services range from independent project review (technical due diligence) and initial feasibility study, to detail engineering and tendering, through to site supervision, acceptance testing and monitoring of plant operation.

Your Tasks

• Providing professional consultancy to our clients predominantly on photovoltaics and photovoltaic hybrid projects in Germany and worldwide
• Managing or assisting in national and international projects as technical expert (due diligence), owner’s engineer and lender’s technical advisor
• Providing support in all project phases (feasibility study, tendering, construction supervision, acceptance and operation)
• Collaborating with external and internal project partners*Assisting the sales department in preparing proposals and technical specifications

Your Profile

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a similar subject, with specialization in the field of renewable energies
• Many years of professional experience in the field of large-scale photovoltaic plants and/or photovoltaic hybrid systems
• Many years of experience in permitting processes for photovoltaic plants in Germany
• Experience in consulting, project development or energy supply
• Very good command of German and English, while a good level of French would be an advantage
• Experience in using PVsyst and programming languages (Matlab / Python) would be an advantage
• Experience in the field of electrical storage systems would also be an advantage
• As an experienced engineer, open and friendly interaction with clients and project partners from different cultural backgrounds comes naturally to you
• Willingness to travel as part of project work in Germany and other countries
