Recycling Technologist (m/f/x)

Your Tasks

Project management and quality assurance of investment projects in waste recycling:

  • Feasibility studies
  • Strategy and master plan development for recycling centers including
    • technological appraisal
    • analysis of the plant supplier market
    • waste analyses (consideration of all types of waste, including hazardous waste)
  • Due diligence assessment of plants
  • Assessment of legal bases, socio-economic and environmental issues of waste projects from conception to realization (drawing on the support of experts as needed for detailed work)
  • Tendering of projects, bid evaluation and contract negotiations (all tender types)
  • Construction supervision or organization of construction supervision during the realization of projects
  • Working on financing models
  • Training of personnel

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in mechanical or environmental engineering or equivalent
  • At least five years of professional experience in the waste sector
  • If possible, you will have experience in these areas:
    • operation of waste management facilities
    • consulting in the waste sector
    • or consulting in sustainable resource management and circular economy
  • Work abroad
  • Languages: English, while another language such as German, Arabic, Spanish, French, Portuguese, etc. would be an advantage
