Project Manager for Seawater Desalination / Reverse Osmosis (m/f/x)

This position is assigned to our Power Plants, Solar Thermal, Desalination and Oil & Gas business Division.

Your tasks

  • Consulting and assistance during project planning, tendering, contract award and execution of seawater desalination plants
  • Coordination and support for planning procedures related to new developments and replacement plants
  • Planning and designing components and systems
  • Assisting with preparing proposals and selecting suppliers
  • Conducting design review (reviewing the supplier engineering)
  • Technical contact person for project managers and for the installation and commissioning teams on site

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar subject, with at least five years of experience working in the seawater desalination industry
  • Expert knowledge of pre-treatment, water chemistry or membrane processes would be a plus
  • Ideally you have experience in conceptual design, proposal preparation and technical sales
  • Knowledge of the design, construction and commissioning of desalination plants would be a plus
  • Fluent in German and English, while Arabic would be a plus
  • Motivated team player
  • Willingness to travel as part of projects
