Site Supervisors for switchgear installations and transformer substations

Your tasks

  • Organizing and setting up project offices and/or construction sites in consultation with Home Office project management but under your own responsibility
  • Planning, support, coordination and stipulating all project-related activities in the field, both in the office and on site
  • Checking all contracts forming the basis for placing orders locally Inspecting, making preparations, overseeing and commissioning of switchgear installations and transformer substations
  • Handover of completed installations to clients

Your profile

  • Electrical engineer with many years of experience in erecting or operating switchgear installations and transformer substations, in particular air- and gas-insulated switchgear (AIS/GIS) for the voltage levels 110/220/380 kV, or higher
  • Fluent in German and English with a knowledge of French an advantage
  • Open, communicative and solution-oriented capability for counseling as first contact person for the client to represent Fichtner in projects
  • Team leader practiced in dealing with inter-cultural environments and with experience as site supervisor
  • Preparedness to take on long-term project assignments anywhere in the world
