Electrical Engineer for Switchgear and Substations

Your Tasks

  • Independently managing the execution of projects in the field of switchgear and substations
  • Planning and designing high-voltage installations and medium-voltage installations
  • Planning and designing outdoor switchgears and gas-insulated switchgears (GIS)
  • Preparing requirements specifications (tender texts, specifications, data sheets, drawings and layouts)
  • Reviewing planning documents (design review)
  • Comparing and evaluating bids (functional specifications) versus requirements specifications

Your Profile

  • Electrical engineer with several years of experience in planning, constructing or operating switchgears
  • Experience in protection technology would be desirable
  • Experience in the consulting sector would be ideal
  • Spoken and written English language skills, while German language skills would be an advantage
  • Willingness to go on a temporary posting for induction training and support of our head office in Germany
  • Willingness to undertake (short-term) assignments worldwide
